A small deed of kindness…

A small deed of kindness can go a long way (as do little acts of nastiness)
Case at hand: one of my kids received what he perceived to be an “attitude” from his sister. This took place first thing in the morning. It immediately put him in a sour mood which, in turn, affected my wife. She, in turn, affected one of the other kids, ending up with the entire family being antsy. And it all started with a bit of an attitude early in the morning. Stopped at its tracks there would have been no chain reaction; a difficult morning could have been avoided. I saw it happening. I didn’t intervene. I should have. Put the fire off when it’s still small and you won’t have to battle a great fire later.
Learned from: my children.
