Getting down to floor level

If you are willing to get down to floor level, almost any downside event will also have an upside; so long as you are able to keep an open mind. Case at hand – this morning I was about to prepare breakfast for my kids. The menu included making home-fries which required, well… a potato. As I was taking some other, non-related items, from the refrigerator, I accidentally caused a container with some leftover mashed potato to fall off the refrigerator shelf. The container’s lid came off and part of the content spread onto the floor. After muttering a curse word, as I knelt to pick up and clean the mess. It then occurred to me that I actually wasn’t aware of this container and that I was about to cook a new potato for the home-fries. Now, having this container of mashes potato (enough of it was still intact,) I was able to speed up my breakfast preparations by using these leftovers.
