That moment of panic when…

…upon entering the highway, you suddenly realize that when you left for a meeting this morning, you forgot your mobile phone at home…

Some of the immediate thoughts that follow:

  • What will happen if get into an accident or just have a flat? (the car I have at current has no spare tire)
  • What if get lost and my GPS cannot find the location of the meeting?
  • Just a general feeling of disconnect from the rest of the world – being so used to be able to have access to anything and everyone at my fingertips.

And then:
What am I worried about? I got along just fine before there were mobile phones…

Learned from: a left-behind mobile phone
