“Ancient Wisdom,” I have asked, “Please teach me,
show me what is Ancient Wisdom?”
“Can you feel your skin cells growing, weathering, and then falling?
How does the epidermis know what to do?
Can you sense the blood pulsing, flowing, and regenerating?
Your hair and nails, your heart, stomach and lungs, constantly in motion,
renewing, pumping and churning, all without your interference.
Look around you. The leaves, the bark on the trees, the wildlife,
the land, water, air and sun; the rays of light spirited about the lake, like
performers of an ancient dance, to the rhythm of nature’s drums.
Watch carefully, listen, taste, touch, breathe it all in;
feel the subtle changes in vital energy, the refined intelligence of its vibration.
This is Ancient Wisdom.
There is nothing to teach that you do not already know.
It was gifted to you in your DNA.
All you need to do is attentively observe.
