Morning mantra

I welcome the new day, embracing new opportunities for self-growth.
I acknowledge that not all moments may be pleasant, but pledge to keep an open mind and a curious spirit; that, rather than complain, I will inquire as to the meaning behind each and every occurrence.
I recognize that whatever happened until now belongs to the past; that I only live in the present.
I set an intention that whenever I forget this notion about the moment, all I need to do is… take a long, deep breath…
Namaste
