Several decades of journeying through life had taught me that growth comes from learning new things. Whenever I stopped discovering, my inner-expansion halted.
Whether lessons arrive through my intellect, or my heart; for practical reasons, or simply out of curiosity, I keep on obtaining knowledge, and, hopefully, wisdom.
Learning should not be confused with studying. The former requires is an open mind and a will; a wish to form, change, and create new connections in the mind.
So long as I keep learning, I feel that I never really grow old. On the contrary, the passing years only add a sliver of deeper perception.
This blog is dedicated to insights coming out of a life-long journey of learning. It started some years ago, Thanksgiving of 2013 to be precise, when I took a challenge of blogging a life-lesson daily for a full year. That was a larger challenge than I expected, but I fared well with about 250 blog posts that year. In the years that followed this blog continued to grow, and is now connected with my offering as a healer and medicine man.
My I wish and hope is that you will find inspiration in these humble posts.
